Bulk Uplift
From 2021 Glasgow city Council introduced a charge for the collection of bulky household items. Provanhall Housing Association offer a bulk uplift service as part of your rent charge.

Car batteries, Gas cylinders, Oil (all types) and Paint can be recycled at the Council’s Household Waste Recycling Centre
Flatted Homes
We will collect bulk items from the bin area at your flat each Monday and taken to the front of your building for uplift the next day (Tuesday). Please do NOT put out large items until Sunday night

You can also contact the council for uplifts. Bulk service is not for complete house removals and you should arrange to take everything with you or take to the local recycling centre – alternative book a collection from GCC and give up a note of the reference number. You will be recharged if all items are left either in your house, garden or street
