Alan Hume - Chief Executive
Alan joined Provanhall in 2022 and brings with him over 20-years’ experience in Housing background at a senior level from a national association and experience from community lead Associations. In the past two years he has obtained a Certificate in Corporate Governance and then a Diploma in Corporate Governance from the Charted Institute of Finance and Administration (CIPFA). He also holds a Diploma in Housing Management, is a qualified Letting Agent, Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management. With a previous background in Retail banking and the Civil Service, he is passionate about achieving the best outcomes for the Association and its’ tenants.
Mark Tedford - Operations Manager
Mark joined Provanhall in December 2024 and has over thirteen years of extensive experience in the construction industry specializing in project management. With a solid trade background, he has successfully managed a wide range of construction projects, demonstrating exceptional leadership and expertise in the industry. Over the past five years, he has played a pivotal role in overseeing all planned and maintenance projects within the social housing sector, ensuring meticulous planning, execution and completion of various significant initiatives. His commitment to excellence and strategic approach has consistently resulted in the timely and efficient delivery of projects, aligning with organisational goals and stakeholder expectations.
Lorraine Sommervile - Finance Manager
Lorraine joined in December 2025. She brings a strong and well-rounded finance background, having worked in the housing sector since 2018 following several years of experience in the private sector. A committed finance professional, she is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She combines technical expertise with a practical, solutions focused approach to financial management, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting, and strong long-term planning. She is passionate about supporting and delivering high quality financial leadership that underpins the Association’s priorities and the needs of its tenants.
Heather Elder - Corporate & Governance Officer
Heather joined Provanhall in April 2023. She brought over 20-years’ experience in Housing, at a senior level in both national associations and community lead Associations. She is a qualified debt recovery Paralegal and has managed factoring services for various organisations for over 15 years.
Having made the career move into Corporate & Governance, she has now passed the Share/CIPFA Governance Programme Certification and continues to enjoy learning new skills in this role.
Peter Boyle - Repairs and Asset Officer
Peter joined in April 2023 and prior to that worked in housing for 11 years and has experience in all aspects of reactive & cyclical repairs. Having previous worked at the association for a year in 2013 covering a temporary Repairs and Asset position.
Diane Miles - Housing Officer
Diane joined Provanhall in September 2025 and brings with her a wealth of experience in money advice services and housing management. In these roles, she excelled as a Customer Services Assistant and Customer Services Officer and previously Money Advice Officer, earning glowing references that speak to her professionalism, dedication, and positive impact.
Rachel Fitzsimons - Repairs and Asset Assistant
Rachel joined in 2015 to pursue a career within the social housing sector. After assisting all departments throughout the years, you will now find her permanently working alongside the Repairs and Asset department to assist with; customer service, cyclical, planned and reactive maintenance.
Danielle Keenan - Housing Assistant
Danielle joined in August 2025 as a Housing Assistant. She has over 12 years experience within the private sector and social housing sector. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team such as all aspects of benefits and housing enquiries as well as maximising rental income. She is looking forward to working with the residents within the community.
Pamela Davren - Finance Assistant
Pamela's joined Provanhall in February 2023 when she stepped in to provide temporary reception cover. However, her exceptional skills and dedication quickly earned her a more significant role within the organisation. She now plays a pivotal role in supporting the finance department, overseeing a wide array of duties with efficiency and precision.
Ashley Tedford - Receptionist / Administrator
Ashley joined Provanhall in January 2026 as our Receptionist and Administrator. She brings strong organisational and customer focused skills, supporting the day-to-day operations of the office and helping ensure tenants receive a responsive and efficient service. Ashley wants to develop her career in housing and being part of the Provanhall team.
